RTE Admission 2026-27: Complete Document Guide

The RTE (Right to Education) 25% admission process provides free education to children from disadvantaged groups. A crucial part of this process is submitting the correct legal documents. 1. RTE Hamipatra (Self Declaration)

The Hamipatra is a mandatory self-declaration form. By signing this, parents confirm that they have not submitted fake documents (like rent agreements or income certificates). If any information is found false during the verification by the scrutiny committee, the admission will be cancelled, and legal action may be taken.

2. Gap Certificate (Shikshan Khand)

A Gap Certificate is required if a student has taken a break in their education. For example, if a child attended Sr. KG in 2023-24 but did not attend school in 2024-25, they must submit a Gap Affidavit explaining the reason (Financial, Medical, or Age-related).

3. Income Declaration (Utpannache Hamipatra)

This declaration is often used as a temporary measure when the official Income Certificate from the Tahsildar is pending. It states the family's annual income from all sources.
